"The Pharmacy Connection" software application is an initiative of the Virginia Healthcare Foundation (VHCF) and is deployed in over 250 health centers and free clinics throughout Virginia. It enables health care facilities to more efficiently acquire needed medications from pharmaceutical companies at little or no cost to the patient.

Since it's introduction, "The Pharmacy Connection" application has enabled health centers to more efficiently acquire over $420,000,000 in free or low cost medications for their medically indigent patients.
